Got Drugs?

As reported in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, there is a new initiative to securely collect unused/old prescription and OTC medications in addition to the DEA collections held in the fall.

Through a Federal Grant, the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency has set up two MedReturn boxes in Allegheny County to collect prescription and over-the-counter solid medications, liquid medications, inhalers, creams, nasal sprays and pet medications. These collection boxes will NOT accept: needles or intravenous solutions.
